Dr. Marry L. Hong was born in South Korea, but moved to Dallas at the age of one. She studied biology at Baylor University in Waco, and went on to complete her four year dental training at the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry in downtown Dallas. Upon receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Hong practiced dentistry in the DFW area for several years before opening Family Tree Dental Care. She has been praised for her thoroughness, attention to detail, and her abilities in pain management and dental anesthesiology.
Dr. Hong’s pleasant demeanor and honest approach to dentistry allows her to provide superior dental care that is gentle to her patients. She enjoys all facets of general dentistry, with a special interest in pediatrics, implants, and orthodontics. She strives to keep current with the latest technology in dentistry by attending numerous hours of continuing education and staying active in the local dental community.
In addition to being a member of the Dallas County Dental Association, Dr. Hong is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Orthodontic Society. She is currently serving as secretary of the local Korean-American Dentists’ Study Club.
When Dr. Hong is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her toddler son, volunteering in dental missions, and serving at New Song Baptist Church. Dr. Hong speaks Korean and Spanish and enjoys meeting people from diverse backgrounds.
